Children and Families
The aim of our children and families work is to support children and young people as they explore their own faith and to support local parents and carers as they nurture their families. Our children and young people are encouraged to be involved in the life of the church, and on Sundays they are supported and encouraged to take part and serve. We currently have children and young people playing in the worship group and operating the sound system.
At the beginning of our Sunday services we share about 25 minutes together as a church family. The children and young people are then invited to take part in our Bubbles group which happens in the back room of Napier Hall.
As a church family, we are keen to build relationships and work with the community and as such the children and families work is not constrained to Sunday mornings. We have strong links with the local junior and secondary school including taking assemblies, RE lessons and being involved in life of school events.
Outside of school, we run a toddler group on Wednesday mornings from 9.15 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. in Napier Hall.
We also run a youth group from 6:30pm to 9:00pm every other Tuesday.
