There is now a ‘Horndean Remembers 2020’ facebook page. You can join via this link.
We are encouraging people to share their stories by posting them on the page for others to read. Please do go over to the page and share your own stories. If you would like to share a story but aren’t sure how, please email Hannah Lowry, and she will post them on the page for you.
People are also beginning to put poppy pictures up in their windows as an act of remembrance this year so we are also encouraging people to post photos of these too.
To go along with this, we will be having a live element in our Sunday service this week. The normal email will go out with the pre-recorded elements of the service and then at 10.45am Sam Ackerman, our Minister, will go live on YouTube and Facebook to share the 2 minute silence and a short reflection. For the live element of our service on Sunday, please visit this link. Please note that nothing will appear here until just before 10.45am on Sunday morning.
