Try Christianity Explored!
Christianity Explored is a series of eight sessions exploring the Christian faith. It is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes, bars—you name it.
At Horndean Baptist Church, we’ll be running the course later this year. It will take place in Oh So’s Cafe (what was Horndean Post Office), in Horndean, on Wednesday evenings from 6.45 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. The start date will be announced soon. There will also be a Saturday Away Day during the course.
You’ll be welcomed with hot drinks, and a meal will be served at 7.00 p.m. After eating, we’ll explore a passage from mark’s Gospel, before watching a talk on DVD and then have a break for more drinks. Post-DVD conversations will take place in groups of 10-12 people and will finish promptly at 9.00pm. The course looks at who Jesus is, what he has done for us and our response to this good news.
Some comments from those who’ve done the course:
“I used to feel abandoned by God with no hope.” – Verda
“I used to think I had to repay God for what he had done for me.” – Nicholas

There’s no charge, and if you come along to a session and decide it’s not for you, we won’t pester you to come back.
